If You Have Forgotten Your MyID Password:

  1. Go to http://myid.uga.edu
  2. Click on "Identity Manager" at the top of the page
  3. Click on "Forgot Password" to reset your password using Secret Questions that you have set up
  4. If you have forgotten the answers to your Secret Questions, please call the EITS Help Desk at 706-542-3106 for assistance


Set Up Your Secret Question/Answers:

Secret Question/Answers must be set up on your MyID account before logging in to MyID Websites like UGAMail, Parking Services, ELC, OASIS, and other MyID websites. To set up your Secret Questions:

  1. Go to http://myid.uga.edu
  2. Click on "Identity Manager" at the top of the page
  3. Login using your MyID username and password
  4. If you have never set your secret questions, you will be prompted to set them up.
  5. If you have already set your secret question and wish to reset them, click on "Secret Questions & Answers"
  6. Press the Submit button to save your changes


I am repeatedly prompted to "Verify My Information" and "Change My Password". Nothing I try seems to work. Can you help?

  • This is a common problem that can be fixed by changing your MyID password through the MyID website:
    1. Go to the MyID Website
    2. Click on MyID Management
    3. Log in with your MyID and Password
    4. Click on Change Password
    5. Wait approximately 5-10 minutes and try to login again.
